C.P. Bourg is pleased to present its BST10-n Collator with a user-friendly touch screen Graphical Interface Control. All programming options, from basic to sophisticated, are addressed through tab selector screens. Simply finger touch an icon and you activate a job or perform a function. The status of the collating process can be monitored at a glance and different settings like conveyor velocity, interset gap or blower levels can be tuned while running. The same Graphical Interface Control directs both collator and booklet maker.
The BST10-n collator with its dual output enables you to utilize multiple finishing solutions within one single system. The need to change finishing attachments is eliminated. SAVING TIME means greater productivity.
The BST10-n concept is based on a main tower BST10-n right and up to five (5) additional towers. The last tower on the left side of the system (main or additional) can be equipped with a Left Exit Kit-n to enable exit of sets to the left side of the collator. This unique system is expandable up to 6 towers for a maximum 60 bin capacity. The towers may send their sheets to the left or right side of the collator, based on operator selection made with the Graphical Interface Control. This results in a VERY HIGH FLEXIBILITY of configurations.
This system can simultaneously produce:
- Via the right side output: saddle-stitched, folded and trimmed booklets using either the Stitch / Fold / Trim modular SMB4-n or the BDF-n Bourg Document Finisher.
- Via the left side output: straight stacked sets of NCR paper or separated sets for perfect binding at a later stage, for example. This can be done with a TD-d stacker or a criss-cross mirrorised jogger (for criss-cross reception).
